Returns are always free of charge
We offer free return shipping on all eligible products. If a product isn't right for you, simply send it back at no cost: we'll send you a prepaid return label and take care of everything.
To request a return, log in to your account on the Site, go to "My orders" and click "Request return". If you don't have an account, write to us at customer@ormesini1271.com
Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving the product. Once you've requested your label, you have a further 14 days to ship the parcel. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving and verifying the returned item.
Ormesini 1271 Satisfaction Guarantee
We know that choosing a fragrance online isn't the same as trying it in a shop. That's why we've developed a return policy that lets you try our products with complete peace of mind.
If you've opened the product to try it and it wasn't quite right for you, you can return it free of charge, provided that:
Scented candles: the wick has never been lit. You can smell the cold wax to evaluate the fragrance.
Body fragrances: the bottle contains at least 90% of its original content. A few test sprays are permitted.
Room sprays: the product contains at least 90% of its original content.
Reed diffusers: the reeds have never been inserted into the bottle. You can smell the fragrance from the open bottle.
Hand creams, body lotion, shower gel, hair perfume: the product contains at least 90% of its original content.
The Satisfaction Guarantee is a voluntary commercial policy offered by Ormesini 1271 and is in addition to — not a replacement for — the rights granted to consumers by law.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange a product for a different one (for example, a different fragrance or format), you can do so free of charge within the same 14-day return window and under the same conditions as the Satisfaction Guarantee above.
To request an exchange, write to us at customer@ormesini1271.com indicating the product you wish to return and the one you'd like to receive instead. We'll send you a prepaid return label; once we receive and verify the returned item, we'll ship your new product. If there is a price difference, we will charge or refund the difference to your original payment method.
Products not eligible for return
We cannot accept returns for: candles whose wick has been lit; diffusers whose reeds have been inserted; products where more than 10% of the content has been used; products damaged by the customer; personalised or made-to-order products.
Final sale items: gift vouchers and gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Gift sets and bundles may only be returned as a complete unit.
These exclusions do not apply to defective products or products damaged during shipping, for which a return or replacement is always guaranteed.
Refunds
After receiving and verifying your return, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within 14 days. No restocking fees apply.
Alternatively, if you prefer, you can request a refund as Ormesini Credit to your personal account on the Site. Ormesini Credit has no expiry date and can be used for any future purchase.
If you return an entire order, we will also refund the original shipping costs. For partial returns, we refund only the price of the returned products.
Gifts
Products received as gifts are not eligible for a refund. In the case of a defective or damaged product, the gift recipient may contact us for a replacement.
Replacements and defective products
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged in transit, or never arrived. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, write to us at customer@ormesini1271.com with photos of the issue within 14 days of receiving the product and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Return shipping is on us.
If your order never arrived, contact us within 30 days of the shipping date. After verifying with the carrier, we will either reship the order or credit the full amount as Ormesini Credit.
Allergic reactions
Our products are formulated in compliance with EC Regulation 1223/2009 and are dermatologically tested. In the event of an adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and contact us at customer@ormesini1271.com with documentation of the reaction. We will send you a prepaid return label and process a full refund.
Our cosmetic products (fragrances, creams, lotions, shower gel, hair perfume) are notified on the European CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) pursuant to EC Regulation 1223/2009. Our scented candles, room sprays and reed diffusers are notified via the ECHA PCN (Poison Centre Notification) portal with a UFI code on the label, pursuant to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008).
In the event of serious adverse effects, ORMESINI1271 S.R.L. will report to the competent authorities through the respective portals.
Duplicate or incorrect orders
If you placed an order by mistake, contact us as soon as possible at customer@ormesini1271.com If the order hasn't been shipped yet, we will cancel it and refund directly to your card or PayPal. If already shipped, we'll send you a free return label and refund to your original payment method.
Fair use
The Satisfaction Guarantee is designed to give you complete confidence when shopping. ORMESINI1271 S.R.L. reserves the right to restrict access to the Guarantee for customers who demonstrate abusive use of this policy, without prejudice to rights granted by law.
Consumer rights
This Return Policy does not limit any rights granted to consumers under Italian law and European Union law, including the right of withdrawal (Articles 52–59 of the Italian Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles 128–135), up to 2 years from delivery.
