    Caramelised sugar drifting off the docks of Zaitùn. The first bite of a date, the sweetness that catches you by surprise.

    Date, caramel and dark cocoa open rich and warm. Coffee and amber smoulder at the heart, before patchouli, musk and vanilla beans close it in.

    Zaitùn is today's Quanzhou — one of the great ports of the Milione, where the silk called "ormesino" passed through, the cloth that gives this house its name.
